Fractal Secrets
One place for the passwords and keys your projects need, kept away from the AI. You decide what each project may do with them, and every use is recorded.
You'll join the Echofold newsletter, where Fractal invite codes will go out.

How it works
Agents ask for an action, not a key.
An agent names a connection and what it wants done. Fractal checks that against what you allowed, does it, and hands back only the result.
Ask. An agent asks for something by the connection's name, like listing the files in your cloud storage. It names the connection and the action, never the key.
What it takes off you.
No keys pasted into prompts, no keys in the code, nothing to remember to rotate by hand. Most important first.
01Keys that stay away from the AI.
- Agents ask for an action, like listing the files in a bucket. Fractal adds the key and makes the call itself.
- The address a key can go to is fixed when you set it up, so an agent picks what to ask, never where the key goes.
- Every reply is checked for your secrets before an agent sees a word of it.
02You stay in control.
- Access is set project by project and action by action, so a key allowed in one project does nothing in another.
- Mark a connection as approve-each-time. Anything left unanswered is refused, so nothing hangs for hours.
- Swap a key and its permissions carry over. Revoke it and everything that used it stops on the next call.
03Nothing to leak by accident.
- Once saved, a value is never shown, copied or filled in again. It can only be replaced or revoked.
- Saved logins are just for you and give no agent any access.
- Every use and every refusal goes into a chained log, where an edited line shows up as a break.
Where it stands
Private beta, and what that means.
Worth knowing before you join the waitlist.
Private beta, by invite.
Fractal Secrets is open to private beta accounts, alongside Fractal Code. Join the waitlist and your invite code comes through the Echofold newsletter.
Not a browser password manager.
It's built for your projects and agents: saved values can't be revealed, copied or filled into websites.
Tamper-evident, not tamper-proof.
The log shows where a line was changed. It can't stop someone with access to the file from rewriting everything after it.
