Part one of two: talk first, build next

Two hours and around fifty people taking the biggest open questions in AI, the ones nobody has settled yet, and talking them through properly. No lightning talks, no demo queue, no product pitch and no audience: everyone in the room is a participant. Whatever comes out of this room becomes the brief for the second event, where we get hands on keyboards and build at the problems raised here. Engineers, designers, product people, founders, researchers, policy folk and the plain curious are all welcome, and you do not need to have used Claude before. Free to attend and in person, with numbers kept deliberately small so it stays a conversation rather than a crowd.

The run-up to the TechIreland National AI Challenge, presented with Manus AI and hosted by Kevin Collins, Manus Fellow. Two hours online taking an idea from a blank page to a working demo: researching the problem live with AI agents across the challenge domains, mapping out a methodology, shaping a development plan that survives the two build weeks, prototyping fast, and pitching so the work lands with the judges at the hub showcase. Manus credits were provided on the night. The previous year's challenge produced 44 projects and 15 finalist teams, double the year before.
