TL;DR
- •Claude Code Community Event #2 at Vibeworks Dublin, hosted by Kevin Collins and Anthony Fildes
- •Nikita Akella (Akella inMotion) talked about building a stylish website builder in 21 days using Claude Code
- •Richard Blythman (Naptha AI) talked about building product agents with Claude Code and specification-driven development

- •Packed room again. The Claude Code community in Ireland is growing fast
Kevin Collins and Anthony Fildes hosted Claude Code Community Event #2 in Dublin last week at Vibeworks. The room was packed again, a strong turnout for a community that launched only weeks earlier. There is clear demand in Ireland for a space where developers can learn from each other on this.
The event featured two guest speakers. Kevin also gave an update on the Claude Code ecosystem and demoed projects he has been building.
01.Nikita Akella: Building a Website Builder in 21 Days
Akella inMotion: When AI Hit the Wall
Nikita Akella from Akella inMotion opened the event with a talk on building a polished website builder in 21 days using Claude Code.
His talk was titled "When AI Hit the Wall" and covered the real challenges of building production software with AI, not just the highlights, but the points where things broke down, and the strategies he used to recover.
His key takeaway: 80% AI, 20% Human Engineering. AI gets you far, but you still need to steer it, fix its mistakes, and make the hard design decisions yourself. A practical talk that resonated with anyone who has tried to ship production software with AI.
02.Richard Blythman: Building Product Agents with Naptha AI
Specification-Driven Development & Organisational Operating Systems
Richard Blythman from Naptha AI gave a talk on building product agents with Claude Code. Richard made a strong case for specification-driven development, writing specs as the primary interface between human intent and AI execution.
He walked through how Naptha AI breaks development into stages: research, plan, and implement, with custom agents he's built for Claude Code, including /research-codebase, /create-feature-spec, and /create-implementation-plan that he calls from within Claude to drive his workflow. The approach extends beyond software engineering into AI engineering, data science, and broader knowledge work.
Richard also talked about building an organisational operating system, using lean agents for discovery, moving memory to tools like Confluence and Jira via MCP, and the goal of fully tracking progress for product leads with less than 15 minutes effort per review loop. A clear vision for how AI agents fit into team workflows, not just solo development.
03.Kevin Collins: Ecosystem News, Billy Bass & Fractium
Kevin gave an overview of the latest news in the Claude Code ecosystem, covering what Anthropic has shipped recently, new community tools like Clawbot/Moltbot/OpenClaw, and where things are heading.
He then showed how he built an AI-powered talking Billy Bass fish, using AI to help pick out the parts, design and wire the hardware with a Raspberry Pi, give it a voice, and run agents on it. The full shopping list, GPIO pinout, and wiring diagram were all generated with Claude Code.
Kevin also gave a first look at a new product Echofold has built with Claude Code: Fractium, a private general purpose agent. More on that soon.
04.The Community Is Growing
There is growing demand in Ireland for a community where people can share what is working and be honest about what is not. The room was full for the second event running, and the conversations after the talks matched the quality of the presentations.
